What Class Do I Need to Enter?

"GP" breakdown.

The “GP" classes will be defined as any full-size dirt bikes with a minimum 21" front wheel and minimum 18" rear wheel. "GP" riders minimum age will be 12 or older.

The “GP” will also allow 85cc 9-11 and 12-15 to race in the main GP

Engine size will be classified as true CC size. For example, a big bore 270 kit on a 250 four stroke cannot be ridden in 250 CC class.

There will not be any different CC classification between two stroke engines and four stroke engines.

For example, a 250 two stroke will compete in the same class as a 250 four stroke.

Exception: a smaller CC engine will be allowed to race up in class. Example: a 125 CC engine bike can compete in the Open or 250 CC classes against larger CC bikes.

"GP" Classes

* Pro AA

The Pro class is for riders that have many years under their belt racing dirt bikes; riders that have advanced through multiple other preceding classes.

For example, riders that have raced and placed in top ten or higher in earlier classes, even in other race circuits.

They have the skills necessary to ride at the top of their skill level over any terrain at top level speeds that most other riders cannot.

Pro class is for riders that finish in the top overall positions at the event.

*Expert A

The Expert class is for riders that have many years under their belt racing dirt bikes; riders that have advanced through other preceding classes.

For example, riders that have raced and placed high in earlier classes, even in other race circuits.

They have skills necessary to ride at the top of their skill level over any terrain at top level speeds that most other riders cannot.

Expert class is for riders that finish in the top positions at the event but may fall short of the overall positions at the event.

They have skills necessary to ride at the top of their skill level over any terrain at moderate speed levels that other riders cannot.

Intermediate class is for riders that finish above most, if not all Novice and beginners at the event, but fall short of the overall positions at the event.

For example, riders that have just started racing or have not yet gained the skills necessary to advance above other Intermediate riders.

They have skills necessary to ride at the top of their skill level over any terrain at moderate speed levels.

Novice class is the first entry level class to compete in.

Novice age group classes 30,40,50 give experienced riders who have lost a step or can no longer compete at the level they once could, a chance to compete for contention.

Novice class is NOT for the truly experienced rider who wants to cruise and get an easy win.

"GP" age and class rules.

All riders must sign up in their proper class and age group.

If it is known that a rider signs up in a lower class than they do in other similar race circuits. That rider will be asked to change their class to the proper skill level.

Also, a rider must sign up in the proper age group. Example: If it is known that a rider is signed up in the Over 60 class, but it is 59, that rider will be asked to change their class.

Exception: A rider will be allowed to race down the age group. Example, a 60-year-old rider will be allowed to ride in any of the other classes with no age restrictions, against competitors that are younger.
